Boy, it sure is a sad statement on society when people still get judged by the color of their skin. Bret and Jemaine feel the brunt of this racism when Sanjay, the Indian fruit stand guy, won’t sell them an apple and a banana because of their nationality.
Of course, he thinks they’re Australians (the little buggers). But, as we all know, they’re New Zealanders. And they really want a piece of fruit.
So the boys concoct a plan to get back at the racist fruit man that falls somewhere between framing him for murder and thinking bad thoughts about him. The next best thing? The only way to get back at someone in America: Flip him the bird.
Well, it takes some time to learn the maneuver (for those who don’t know, it doesn’t not involve flapping your hands like wings).
The plan works perfectly, until they realize that the racist fruit guy only hates Aussies. So everybody’s happy, and the new friends head off to the Australian embassy to flip off the guards for a while.

Meanwhile, it’s a big episode for Murray. He’s in love with the new tech support chick in the office, even thought he doesn’t really know her name. He even writes a song for her, although it mostly consists of the word “hi.”
But the “hi” turns into “goodbye” after she finishes installing all the new computers in the office. Fortunately for Murray, it gives him a solo in the boys’ latest song. Yes, it’s a banner episode for ol’ Murray. Just think how great it would be if he actually got the band a gig or something.
I’m still not ready to say this show is back to the level it started at, but this episode was definitely an improvement on the past few weeks. We even got a little hip-hop action — yeaaah, mutha ucka! — and you know I’m a sucker for the Rhymenocerus and the Hip-Hopopotamus. Man, I love those guys.
