Girls, take it from somebody older and wiser, never let yourself get sucked into revealing your deepest, darkest secrets out of sheer boredom. I promise they will always come back to haunt you, and I do mean haunt.
When foul weather puts a dent into Casey’s (Spencer Grammer) slumber party for the Zeta pledges, the girls get lured into discussing sorority secrets. With rain and thunder pounding down, there’s nothing better than a good ghost story, and Rebecca (Dilshad Vasdaria) leads the house in a doozy about a previous sister that died in that very house. This is just one of the many lessons you learn by going to college. What, you thought it was all about cramming for tests? At least half of what you garner from sorority life is how to manipulate and out maneuver your enemies and friends, and something tells me that’s just what Rebecca is up to on tonight’s episode of GREEK.
Fraternity life isn’t much different. There’s just more punching and farting going on over there. Oh ya, and the endless humiliation of cleaning up after your brothers. Personally, I wouldn’t touch any room in a fraternity house with a ten-foot-poll. But, it seems to be working for Rusty (Jacob Zachar), who just last week found himself his first girlfriend. Amazing how a little action can give even the wimpiest amongst us some much needed confidence. But, things aren’t going quit as well for his sister, Casey (Spencer Grammer), over at the sorority house.
It turns out she only planned the cozy slumber party to gain favor with the very sisters who will be voting in the next house elections. Alas, her plans are not only hampered by the severe weather, but also, by that snotty pledge sister, Rebecca, who has taken the party over by turning it into a séance. I can tell you from personal experience that there is nothing more intriguing to a young woman than a spooky night with all her girls. Well, other than a night out with a hot guy. We’ll basically dump even the best of friends for a night of romance and passion. Sorry guys, you don’t hold the market on moving mountains for a good booty call.
Meanwhile, Cappie (Scott M. Foster) has some potential booty of his own to concentrate on. A hot blond, all clad in black leather and motorcycle dust shows up at the fraternity house looking for some big strong guy to help her find her way. No but really, this mysterious woman seems to be too good to be true, and she is. Apparently, this little sex kitten is a former fat girl that went to camp with Cappie ten years earlier. She has morphed into a hot stalker, who has been focused on nothing but getting her man. Wow, a girl takes ten years to turn herself into an irresistible temptation for her man, how romantic. No amount of warning on Rusty’s part can convince Cappie that his dream girl is a dangerous psychopath. But, who can blame the guy? I mean, I don’t know many fraternity boys that can pass up an easy mark, especially when they spent the past ten years thinking of nothing but their childhood crush.
Still, it’s better than the night Evan (Jake McDorman) and Calvin (Paul James) had. They spent the bulk of the evening chasing and running away from a clever little mouse. But, it wasn’t all bad; after all they got in some really good bonding time with each other. I think it was when Calvin saved Evan from a giant snake that sealed the deal on that brotherhood. Let’s just hope Rusty doesn’t feel betrayed by Calvin’s new friendship, after the difficult past he and Evan have experienced. But, Rusty has his hands full with the crazy former fat girl, so he’ll have to deal with that mess later.
In the end, Cappie kissed the crazy right out of his former fellow camper. Seriously, he kissed the girl and snapped her right out of her stalker induced psycho haze. And Casey managed to turn things back in her favor with the whole séance thing, so all is well at the Zeta House. Ah, college life, no wonder we all remember it fondly throughout the rest of our lives.
