LIFE -- "Dig A Hole, Fill It Up"

By Sabrina Cognata

Our buddy Charlie Crews (Damian Lewis) and his partner Dani Reese (Sarah Shahi) are sent to a construction site where a body has been unearthed.  It seems like the body’s been buried since the beginning of time, but once they get it to the lab they find out that it was resting there for about 10 years.  The remains belong to a man formerly known as Tim Chang.  Along with Ted’s ID they find his super old Zach Morris cell phone and use it to find the last numbers that Ted dialed.  It takes them to the home of a physics professor at USC, Luke, and his wife, Jenny also a staff member at USC.  Jenny tells Charlie and Dani that her husband knew Tim before he died, but she never knew him.  Luke says he went to Master Chang to help him with a crisis of faith he had over ten years ago.  Luke says Chang worked with two potheads to make an instructional video and sell it online.

Dani and Crews follow this lead and it takes them to the communal house of two former computer nerds that are now multi-billionaires from the “dating” site they started on the internet, QUICKIEMATE.  They tell Charlie that Zen Master Flash, as they knew him, knew about their indulgence in drugs and also participated in getting high.  They also say that the Zen Master’s disappearance wasn’t odd to them, but seemingly…zen.

The next phone number on the list leads them to an Eric Molina.  Eric now runs his own dojo and fights like the love child of Jackie Chan and Chuck Norris.  He blames the potheads for the disappearance of the Zen Master, but after speaking them those two for a second time it’s revealed that Eric had a death match with the Zen Master shortly before his disappearance.  After confronting him with their knowledge of this, he runs off, but once they get back to his dojo they see the picture of the Zen Master on Eric’s alter and the person in that photo is no other than Jenny.

Personally, Charlie is still dealing with the whole Ames murder among other things.  It’s his 15th wedding anniversary, or at least the one he’d be having if his crappy wife hadn’t divorced him because she believed he was a cold blooded murderer.  To commemorate this date, Charlie keeps a promise he made to his ex over 15 years ago and he delivers a beautiful white horse to her.  Constance (Brooke Langton) comes to him and says that the D.A.’s office has decided to stop investigating him for the death of Ames and they now have a new suspect in the case.  Charlie also romanced his way into getting the personnel file of Jack Reese (Victor Rivers) and ends up noticing that the photo of his snitch looks remarkably like the drawing done by the young girl that witnessed the murder.

When confronted with the photograph Jenny denies having any actual relationship with Tim Chang, but then her young half Asian son enters the room and her lie is exposed.  Her husband then comes to her aid and says that he is the one that buried Chang alive because he caught him with Jenny.  Too bad for Luke, since he cannot name the object gripped in Chang’s hand he cannot be prosecuted for murder.  They tell Jenny and Luke that they’re turning their investigation on her and she cracks saying she knows it was a rose in Chang’s hand because she threw it into his grave.  I guess that is one woman you do not knock up and then plan to leave.

THE GAME -- "Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Redux"
Dear Racist,What you are trying to say is that black people aren't human? They are a segregated part of culture that responds differently. You my friend are a racist. Have you ever been a mad white woman? THEY CUT DICKS OFF. What I gather from your response is that melanin is a powerful part of human chemistry that makes one a bad actor. And for that I am sending Wesley Snipes to cut your black ass. Maybe it isn't about what black people like... just the quality of the crap they are forced to watch. I recommend you watching something like Manderlay, the movie hates white Americans too, so I'm sure you will enjoy it. The only difference is it's good. Also, three commas do not equal a period.
