THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA set the Internet on fire this week with the new trailer for the series’ next installment, PRINCE CASPIAN. From what I remember of the books, this is the one where Peter, Lucy, Edmond and Susan return to Narnia one week after their visit in LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, only to find themselves transported a thousand years into Narnia’s future, where the land is torn by civil war.

From the trailer we can see that there will be a great deal more action in this chapter, with battles between the mythic creatures of Narnia reaching epic new proportions. (My favorite clip is what looks to be griffins bombarding a dark castle. Sweet.)

Check out the trailer for yourself, and then rant back to us if PRINCE CASPIAN is looking more promising than its predecessor.
