Well that was fast now, wasn't it? The teaser trailer for the SEX AND THE CITY feature film debuted today, barely two weeks since production wrapped. From the looks of it, die-hard fans of the show will be pleased.
The trailer does not show us much more than Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Samantha in probably a dozen different outfits. Hey, at least they know their audience. The film looks to be a glossier, more expensive take on the popular HBO television series that ended its run in 2004. The show has experienced a resurgence in popularity recently because it is now shown in syndication.
If you ask me, the SEX AND THE CITY movie is a surefire hit. Audiences that loved THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA last year will not want to miss this. Not to mention fans of the TV show's original run and rebroadcasts in syndication.
What do you all think? Is there still an audience for this? And if you weren't a fan of the show, does this preview do much to convert you?
