THIS IS PURELY A RUMOR AT THIS POINT, but Ain't It Cool is reporting that the production teams of both IRON MAN and THE INCREDIBLE HULK recently shot a shared scene. It isn’t made clear whether the alleged scene is a HULK scene to appear in IRON MAN, and IRON MAN scene to appear in THE INCREDIBLE HULK, or, (more interestingly,) a single scene that would appear in both films, as a cool little wink at the audience.

One bit of speculation that I find pretty cool is that Nick Fury, the hard-as-nails commander of international espionage organization S.H.I.E.L.D., would be the link between both films, approaching both IRON MAN and THE HULK to recruit them for a team of superheroes you might know as THE AVENGERS, another film which has recently been green-lit. Again, this is all just rumor, although it has been confirmed that Samuel Jackson will be making a small cameo role in IRON MAN as Nick Fury, so this “crossover scene” is definitely not outside the realm of possibility.

Would it be cool to see nice little tongue-and-cheek moment shared between IRON MAN and THE INCREDIBLE HULK? Or do those kind of “wink, wink” moments in comic book films seem cheesy to you? Rant back and let us know how you feel.
