In what I perceive is the height of irony, about 250 fans of 30 ROCK did not gather in front of their TV sets on the evening of Thursday, December 6, where they could have done some good increasing the show’s anemic ratings. No, instead they chose to do their hero worshipping live, at a special event sponsored by the Television Academy honoring 30 ROCK and its stars. (The Television Academy is the organization that hands out the Emmys every September.)

What’s a director to do when he tackles every seeming topic in his genre? In Ridley Scott’s case, you agree to design a feature length film on Gucci empire and the drama surrounding it, reports
Variety. Honestly, I just want to see this movie get underway because I’m dying to see how Scott works manly Russell Crowe into a movie about a bunch of Italian fashionistas.

This week UGLY BETTY provides us with two-sibling rivalry inspired storylines. To begin, you have Alexis (Rebecca Romijn) and Daniel (Eric Maibus) Meade painfully watching the video their father left behind explaining his choice to run the Meade publishing empire. Too bad Betty (America Ferrera) interrupts him causing him to get confused and accidentally turn off the camera before he gets a chance to tell them his choice.
