After bombarding you with multiple
pics of the latest incarnation of the gamma-green giant over the last few months, it’s a nice change of pace to be able to pass on some
pics showcasing the Hulk’s calmer side, namely Dr. Bruce Banner, who will be played by Edward Norton’s in the upcoming INCREDIBLE HULK reboot.
The first pic is of Dr. Banner staring intensely at a vile of liquid. Thrilling. The second pic, (for those who do not have an extensive memory of the classic INCREDIBLE HULK TV series,) is of Dr. Banner manning the famous gamma transponder, the machine that Banner created to cure himself of the Hulk in the 1988 TV movie
THE INCREDIBLE HULK RETURNS. How’s that for a bit of nerd-knowledge?
Check out this official press release about the film:
“The Incredible Hulk” kicks off an all-new, explosive and action-packed epic of one of the most popular superheroes of all time. In this new beginning, scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk.
Living in the shadows — cut off from a life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler) — Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt), and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power.
Hey, at least I won’t have to wait an hour just to see big green bust loose of his trousers.
Take a look at the pics, then rant back to us is whether or not you think Edward Norton can bring the right kind of muscle to THE INCREDIBLE HULK.
AND HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
