ONE MISSED CALL was supposedly adapted from the novel “Chakushin ari” by Japanese novelist Yasushi Akimoto. That book was then adapted into a 2004 Japanese horror film. This means that the “minds” between the American version of ONE MISSED CALL had not one, but two prior examples to reference when bringing their version of the ghost-in-the-cell-phone tale to the big screen. So how did they still manage to screw the pooch so royally?

Ugh, I hate Zach Braff. Whose decision was it to make him the sexy nerd posterboy? Whoever it was, I am out to kill them cause I have known a lot of sexy geek guys and he is absolutely not one of them. Zach Braff is just another ugly guy that comes across and tortured, neurotic and not very good-looking, but in a charming way. Dear casting directors, I hate you.

The latest
actors to be added to the cast of the upcoming, live-action,
G.I. JOE movie aren’t exactly A-list names, but we thought that we let you know a quick bit about them anyway.

Well the holiday season is officially over, and with the New Year comes a bumper crop of new TV shows. Personally, I’m always a little weary of the “mid-season” replacements, (are they even calling them that anymore)? If there wasn’t enough excitement surrounding them to roll them out in the beginning of the fall season, than why should I waste my time on them now? That being said, this season is a little different, thanks to the continuing writer’s strike. Don’t get me wrong, I love my reality TV, but the fate of my favorite scripted shows are hanging in the balance and in many cases they won’t be back until next Fall. For that reason, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some of these late comers.
