Critical Look: BABY MAMA

The latest comedy from the SNL clique stars Tina Fey (30 Rock) as a middle-aged woman unable to conceive, who hires a South Philly dunderhead (Amy Poehler) to act as her surrogate—a.k.a., her BABY MAMA. The film will showcase such potentially funny moments as sink squatting, junk food gorging, well-timed delayed-response, and monster truck rallies. Sigourney Weaver and Dax Shepard will co-star.

Poehler and Fey have been close friends ever since the improv academy, and Fey has yet to jump into any film that she hasn’t first infused with her hilariously acerbic wit. But will it be enough to make BABY MAMA deliver? Watch the trailer, rant back and let us know.
