Variety’s Anne Thompson recently wrote a blog post that will have fans of the SUPERMAN franchise either jumping for joy, or crying out in agony. It went on to say that Brandon Routh, the “star” of RETURNS, would also be getting the ax, replaced by a more youthful incarnation of the man of steel, who will appear in the upcoming JUSTICE LEAGUE movie.
