ENTOURAGE -- "The Cannes Kids"

I did not see this one coming. As the season finale unfolded, everything was finally coming together for the boys. They made it to Cannes, there are hot chicks everywhere, and there’s a bidding war for their movie, MEDILLIN.

And then, they screen the movie … and it sucks … really, really bad.

So now we’re back to square one. The $75 million-plus deal the boys were supposed to have is gone, they have no movie to show, and the future is, well, there is no future. It’s a bummer about them not taking all those offers before the screening. But really, someone maybe should have watched this thing before sending it off to the biggest film festival in the world, no?

But at least Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon) found his dream girl, who just happens to be a huge Viking Quest fan. Too bad he’s got no money to keep her.

this show sucks now. it totally looses credibility when not even Vince can see how much the movie sucked when it was originally shown. If it were really THAT bad, dont you think he would've realized? In real life, these guys would be totally screwed. but of course, im sure ari will come up with some scheme and lead all these boys back to money...how many times does this have to happen before people stop watching?

"This season has muddled along with the usual Hollywood mountain-out-of-a-molehill drama along every step of getting the movie out to the public. And yet, nothing actually ever happens."

Couldn't agree with you more! I stopped watching this show about midseason, tuned into this final episode about 5 minutes into it, and didn't feel like I missed anything at all. Felt like the plot continued exactly from where I stopped watching it. Not once did I have to ask my friends about what happened to lead up to the current events. This show sucks and people just watch it cause their friends do, and cause it's cool like Ed Hardy.
