http://www.criticsrant.com/archive/2008/01/08/DGA-Nominees-Announced.aspx The Directors Guild of America has announced the nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for 2007.  In case you’re not privy to exactly what this is, it’s basically like a pissing contest and precursor for whom will win the oscar for Best Director.  It turns out that since the initiation of this award 60-years-ago, it has only incorrectly indicated who would win the Oscar for Best Director six times.  I guess this means if you consider yourself some sort of film buff you should pay attention to what’s going on here.
